Bushings-Help anyone?

I'm looking for some new bushings for my Paris 180s. I'm currently riding them with the stock Randal 92a double cones on my Dervish flex 2, and although I love the turniness and responsiveness of these bushings, I'm also starting to realise that anything over 25 km/h makes them feel like jelly. I'm looking for a set of bushings, or a combination, that will still be able to carve nicely and responsively, but hold up under fairly high speeds. I've heard good things about Venoms, Elims especially, but I'm worried that those will take away too much of the turniness that I love.
Any help would be appreciated!

Head on down to the bushing

Head on down to the bushing setup thread.. lots of knowledge there...

bushings

All I can say is, until you've ridden Venoms, you haven't lived.

Stock randal cones are pretty average as far as bushings go, and in my opinion, venom barrels in the duros 80-90a or venom elims in 80-85a will suit what you need. If you can't get venoms, get khiros. The difference in the ride is like night and day, and you most certainly won't look back to stock bushings ever again.

night and day indeed

but if you get elims for your paris's expect to customize or expect SLOP TO THE DAYS GEE

it is a flex 2 dervish.this

it is a flex 2 dervish.this board will forever be jelly.hmm i tryed a combo the other day where i put yellow elims on the bottom and the red barrels on the top(venoms) i found this to be reasonably stable and with the barrel on top felt really pumpable and fuun.this was on an evo tho.

I have got a set of venom

I have got a set of venom barrels in my chargers on a dervish and i love it.. can actually take on hills now without feeling like im going to die... still not into big hills cause the deck is like a noodle but i enjoy it for the flats... decent amount of stability as well...

Looks like the Elims...

They seem to be what I'm looking for, as long as I do that little customisation on them. 85a, probably, as that's the softest I can find. I can't seem to find anywhere to get the Venom barrels in NZ, so they're out of the question. 85a elims it is, I suppose! Thanks guys.

You obviously didn't check

You obviously didn't check the vendors tab up the top - Boarderlines.co.nz has venom barrels and elims, $12.50 for barrels, $15 for elims.

I did, actually...

Yeah, I checked Boarderlines. They're awesome. But they only have the DH Barrels, not the standards. Elims look like what I'm looking for anyway.

don't 4 get

Billy and Nick are very reasonable guys, and i would be willing to bet that if you ask them nicely, they might be able to order in things that you want, assuming they don't already have them, you may have to wait a few weeks thats all.
