wheels...
Well I just got some Yellow big zigs and find they slide so easy but very jittery right out of the box. (personally i like the jumpy feel of sliding) I've had yellow stimulus, purple inheats, retro zig zags, and a couple other od sets of wheels and i gotta say my fave were the yellow stimulus

at the moment, green cults,
at the moment, green cults, will be trying out the blue and orange ones when they get here. Cults just grip, but have a really smooth release in corners. they seem to grip up quicker too, you take more speed out the turn. The blues are supposed to be even grippier.
but purp and orange otangs pretty much rule too.

I love orangatang in heats
I love orangatang in heats so smooth
wheres the like button?
wheres the like button?
I have blue cults
they drift very nicely but get chattery in a long slide, amazing for carving.
I agree with tribalchea about the stims, my set have lasted ages and are still so good for sliding, not nice for hard carves or pumping.
zigs of any size will last forever compared with other wheels of similar duro, have good grip and a nice slide once broken in. (have you ever seen a descent DH vid on youtube without a set of limes, barring otang vids?)
InHeat 83a are my fav wheel though, i slide them just as easy as my stims but can hold a line and carve well with the right setup
Any 80-83a Zig or Otang is a safe bet.
yeah the blue cults were
yeah the blue cults were designed for grip at high speed, 30+mph.
I think if i had to go with one wheel it would be the purp inheats.

I like the O-tang in heats,
I like the O-tang in heats, and the Retro Free-rides. Both ride real smooth.

yea lemon zigs are where its
yea lemon zigs are where its at really durable(they just dont cone) really fast really grippy and really drifty ha if that makes ne sence.i also think the freerides are a good allround wheel slide like ice once broken out but grip to a predictable point.if you wanna do freeride get yellow orangs.just do it ull see why.so there you go yellow yellow and more yellow haha yellow wheels are the best.
Brian Bishop recommends Orange Zig Zags
I was having this same discussion with a few riders recently including Brian Bishop from Original and YouTube fame. He loves the Orange ZigZags. Here is what he had to say on the subject.
"I prefer to use orange zig zags for sliding my apex, but beginners might like to break in a set of retro freerides, as they break in and slide easier once they do that. I prefer the zigzags because they are much wider and provide a more well balanced ride between sliding and cruising. They also slide much more predictably in my opinion
So 83a Yellow or 86a Orange Zig Zags, take your pick.
I sell them both btw :)

yellow zigs are sweet man.
yellow zigs are sweet man. I'm ridding them and they got a nice jutter to there stand up slides that makes it a bit easier to break into them
