Tour of Kapiti (Point to point and some cruising, Auckland Anniversary weekend?)

Thinking ahead to summer...
I know next year is a long way off but I thought I'd get this in your calendars now if anyone is interested.
I thought I'd organise a point to point race around the Kapiti coast. There's a few longboarders up here now and with the crew from Wellington only an hour away has the potential to be a good event.
I can probably find a couch or two and definetely plenty of tent space.
How about it?
Anyone keen to sponsor prizes?
Anyone keen to help out, perhaps with to coaching/clinics (slide? safety? slalom?)

P.s. I can assist im being a safety officer, as i firmly belive a safety meeting/briefing is very important to the sport indeed.

The tentative plan is at this stage is:
Saturday afternoon: P2P race
Saturday late arvo/evening: cruising and bbq
Sunday: Whatever (slide, slalom, cruise)
