Dervish Owners (in Welly)

Hi All,

I'm keen to get back into a bit of longboarding over the summer and I've been eyeing up the Dervish deck (I already have Trucks/Wheels from my Lush board that sadly got left behind in the UK).

My problem is which Flex to get. I'm 75kg and right on the boundary between the 1 and 2. My skills and attitude mean I'll never be bombing at mad speed down hills, so instinct say go for the 2. It'd just be nice to get others feedback, or even have a bounce on one, before I go and drop some coins on a new deck.

If anyone has some thoughts, or can help out, please drop me a line. I have a car, so anyone in Welly with a Dervish to have a roll on is more than welcome to a free ride to the top of their favouite hill!

Flex 2 Dervish for sale

Hey i have a 2nd hand dervish that im selling as a complete on trade me but will be happy to sell deck only wen it expires cus i want to upgrade to a flex 1 cus i started getting into dancing/tricks and cant do much without running the risk of bottoming out cus im 90kg (Put on a bit of weight since i first brought it lol) and i like the current truck set up im riding. Its 9 months old little bit off wear on the sides and ends and scratches to the graphic/bottom ( a few medium scratches from bottoming out) but nothing to affect the ride. Mite need to regrip if you like grippy decks. Leave a message if your keen and want to see pics. =)

But if not what kind of riding are you in to? (Dancing, Bombing hills, Carving, Etc)Cus if you like to do shove it's, kick flip's, etc tricks you mite want to go a flex 1 which isnt as lively when carving but wont bottom out as easy.

Philthy - Thanks for the offer, life's suddenly got hectic again but I'll try and drop you line soon (prob on a slightly less windy day than today)...

Push A Long boards - Thanks for the feedback and the deck offer. At this stage I'm pretty keen to hook myself up a new deck.
