hey all.was looking at getting some new wheels i usually ride otangs,purple mostly which are no doubt a great wheel,super fast and drift real nicely but im sik of coning out these wheels in like the first week of riding em and its too expensive for me.i have also riden big zigs lemon which once broken in drift like mad.but are a touch choppier than the otangs,but also they seem more durable.another thought is the retro freeride selection ive herd they last long time and slide real well but do they grip at all?would they still be suitable for dh and corners at speed?Dan i know you ridem what do you rekon?any other suggestions would be appriciated,sortof leaning towards the lemon zigs at this point.ps would not go below 72 mm or 83a.cheers.

Orangatang are releaseing some new wheels in 86a that are yellow, but i think its only in their freerides, should be pretty durable though

I have the lemon freerides
I have the lemon freerides and have taken them up to 60km and hit corners at 40km and they grip and slide fine.
Not too sure on the wear let as I haven't used them at the luge or much at con hill which kills my wheels.
I prob wouldn't take mine any faster as there 83a and for me I like nice a the softer ride 80a give me.
You can try them out at the luge this weekend if you want.
